The historic California Tennis Club is the oldest existing tennis club West of the Mississippi and the 8th oldest tennis club in the U.S.A. The Club is a proud member of the elite international organization, The Centenary Tennis Clubs, with clubs exceeding 100 years in age from all over the globe.
The club, warmly referred to as the Cal Club, by its members, has 2 Plexicushion 2000 stadium courts and 8 "Decco Turf" cushioned courts. 8 courts are lit for night time play. The teaching staff at the Cal Club led by Tennis Director, Steve Jackson, is available 7 days a week to assist at all levels of players, from beginning children, to refining the game of the 5.0 experienced player.
The Club hosts a variety of member tournaments throughout the year, with the newest and one of the most popular of these events being the Rally for the Cure Tournament, supporting the fight against breast cancer. The Cal Club has very active Junior, Cardio Tennis and Drop-In Tennis programs. Many members actively participate in USTA match play in all levels play ranging from 3.0 to 5.5 ratings.
